2016 Team Uniform Rules

1. Any cleats worn on game day must be or be a combination of team colors…red, black, white, or gray/silver. No pink, lime green, fluorescent orange, purple, etc. If you decide to ‘spat’ your shoes, it will be in black.

2. Any gloves worn on game day must be or be a combination of team colors…red, black, white, or gray/silver. No pink, lime green, fluorescent orange, purple, etc.

3. Socks. JV—Any socks worn on game day must be above the shoe line. No “no-sho” socks. They can be white or black.
VARSITY – Your game day socks will be provided.

4. Undershirt. Practice – wear a shirt under your shoulder pads. Suggestion: you have a red or gray ‘Tascosa Football’ shirt and a compression shirt. Wear your red or gray ‘Tascosa Football’ shirt in the weight room and your compression shirt under your shoulder pads. If you have a personal shirt that you would like to wear…make sure it’s team colors…red, black, white, or gray/silver.
VARSITY – you will receive a game day compression shirt to wear.

5. Anything that you decide to add to your uniform must be team colors…red, black, white, gray/silver. Additions to the uniform may include visors, mouth piece, sleeves, chin strap, shoe laces, back plate, sweat bands, eye black, head bands/rags, towels, etc.

6. No exceptions. Not even during October/”Pinktober”. Not that we are insensitive or don’t believe in supporting the fight against breast cancer, pink is just not a team color.

7. Varsity uniforms will be Adidas. If you would like to wear Adidas cleats to match, you can order them from Buck’s on 45th street. After you order them tell Coach Davis.
